Wedge Civil Engineering Ltd undertake commercial groundwork for private clients on residential and industrial developments, sports centres, schools and playground facilities, parks and other specialist projects such as golf courses. Industrial Estates
For residential and industrial developments both new build and redevelopments we offer a range of services to cater for all groundwork requirements including remediation, grading, drainage, mains services, piles and muck away. We are experienced with membrane systems for protecting sensitive water tables and the requirements for preventing industrial contaminants from leaching through concrete slabs and surface joints into the base soil/rock.


Schools
We work on a variety of school complexes both indoor and outdoor, preparing foundations, drainage, mains, services ducts, and pilings as well as outdoor landscaping and soil conditioning.


Parks
We carry out work for parks, including subterranean car parks, landscaping, mains services,
water features, and building foundations, piling & slab work. For sites that are on
Brownfield or contaminated land we carry out decontamination, screening, stabilisation
and strengthening. Our institutional services also cover schools, hospitals and related
developments.


Playgrounds
For playgrounds we provide landscaping, grading, concrete and tarmac services, as
well as drainage systems, both surface water and foul, plus other external works, to
client specifications.


Unadopted Road Repair
We are a Term Maintenance Contractor for Local Authorities, with major contracts
for the highways, footways, bridleways, drainage systems and lighting systems. We
specialise in being very competitive in providing these services. A result of this is
we can provide a repair/ maintenance service for unadopted roads at very competitive
rates as we are Term Maintenance Contractors for several boroughs throughout the
South of England.


Kerbing
We can create and lay a kerb line, repair broken kerbs, install dropped Kerbs
for driveways and connect the unadopted roads kerbline into the road network.
